As with all apple accessories, this is a quality cable. I bought this to go along with a second power supply for my MacBook Pro and this met my needs.

I needed a charging cord that was longer than the 3 foot one that came with my IPad and this works well for me

Only one that fits right. I have issues with buying knock off cords. They fray, or are not reliable. Costs for the Apple product is about the same as knock offs and are slightly above average for durability. Although charge is much more easier and faster Only giving 4 stars as Apple cords aren’t any more durable than a knock off. Giving 5 stars on length of charge needed, Apple gets it there much faster.

I have had other brands but always go back to Apple. The others end up failing but the Apple always lasts.

Nothing beats an original Apple cable. You can buy cheaper versions, but you take your chances.

Very adaptable to both MacBook Air or MacBook. Works with the new iPad Pro as well. Charges the iPad Pro quicker as well.

This is a great 6 foot USB cable. I use it paired with an ANKER PowerPort PD nano and it gets the job done well!

My continued use of my laptop lead to a shredded cord, so I bought a brand new adapter with a cord for an insane price. Yikes! I decided on my 3rd time to replace just the cord. A local independent tech store didn't carry these cords, but the associate looked up Best Buy's inventory online to check. Best Buy does carry the item and it was a reasonable price. I know I'll run into another shredded cord in time, but I also know where to find them.
