    Could be a fluke, but the cable has a strong musty odor. It was factory sealed. Waiting to seee if the odor dissipates. Will be returning if not.

    The longer cords are more convenient. Can sit anywhere and not worry about pulling the plug. Shorter cord is for car use IMO
