    My last cable got bent from pulling excessively hard but it still works, that goes to show that it is made of good quality that I had to order another one just in case.

    Face it: the 3' cable that comes with an iPhone or iPad just usually isn't long enough to plug the charger into an available power outlet and reach your sofa or recliner where the device needs to be connected to charge while you're using it. The only gripe I have with this cord -- all of Apple's cords, really -- is that they aren't super-durable: seems like I end up replacing them too often because they become intermittent/damaged at the connectors. They need to be treated with extra care to avoid strain at these weak points.
