    Had purchased an open box display MacBook Pro, in perfect condition, but it didn't include the wire or power plug. BB salesperson said that Apple doesn't include them for their display models unless they've been changed. Guess just a cost saving thing plus much easier for store to just unplug & plug into the displays, instead of running new wires each time a newer model comes out. Wire works fine.
