    I got the open box. It has a rubber smell.. but I guess that is what you will get if you pay little. I had to have this because other best buy brand cables are not supporting my faster charger

    I bought before a generic cable, didn't charge well. Bought the original apple one and works just fine. If you find out of the box will be a steal!

    Seems silly to have to purchase a longer charging cable for the ipad pro. It should come with the device instead of the shorter one Apple includes
