Sticky and Moldy Smell

I recently purchased another Apple product and the cable that was included with the product had the same issue.

Didn't like the feel of the cable as it felt like it would deteriorate after sometime and becomes sticky to the touch. Took another star away due to it's stiffness. I gave two stars because it works.

Apple USB-C charge cable

It is stiff and kinks constantly and become hard to unravel. This causes it to bend and twist.I am not satisfied with the quality.

Apple - 6.6' USB-C Charge Cable

My mistake was thinking that all USB-C cables were the same regarding high speed data transfer, wrong. Data speed for this cable is close to USB 2 speeds. If you want high speed, go with Thunderbolt USB-C.

But that's what I expect from Apple products, to be honest. Cord started to wear out quickly and I had to buy a new charger. My current charger is amazing, and now I'm switching brands.

Moldy smelling USB Cable from Best Buy
