We got it for free because the open box product that we bought didn't come with the right cable. They were willing to accommodate for this which was appreciated!

MacBook charging cable replacement

It is exactly the same as the original and works very well. It was also delivered the next day, no waiting. The price was a lot but that is par for Apple products.

It Works - Pick Up An Extra Cable

If you have an old power brick, this cable will allow you to use the new Mag Safe charging system on your Mac Book Pro. Best Buy has always been a great place for me to pick up Apple Products. I buy almost as much through Best Buy as I do through Apple.

I hated that some of the airs went to a USB C cable. they get bent and break to easily. the mag safes last longer, and it is nice that it is not permanently attached to the power supply like it used to be. still way to expensive for just a small cable though.

Best Buy was able to identify the problem and resolve the issue in minutes. I just needed a new cord
