    I long the long cord, when it is charging you are still able to use your iPad without sitting so close to a outlet.

    The plastic base of the charger does not fit the casing to my iPad case. Will be returning the item to the store. Have since purchased one compatible with my device and casing. Length of the cord was perfect.

    Apple cables seem to work better and last longer than the cheep cables offered elsewhere. The longer cable is handy also.
