Overkill for my current situation

Is this absolute overkill in my personal scenario yes. But I do enjoy the added length I use this extra length so I can use my phone while I lay in bed or just casually web surfing.

So my old cord split for both my ipad and old iphone. I bought a new I Phone and the new cord is heavy duty. When I went to replace my old ipad cord, I thought the new cord would be heavy duty, but it is not. It is the same flimsy material but it will not fit my old charging block! I had to buy a new one. I recommend because you have no choice.
