Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this product except I have to buy it every 6 months :) The plastic covering over the wires that is near to where you plug in to your tablet, simply starts to fray about every 6 months no matter how hard I try to not have the wire bent for any reason. I did just purchase a rubber coil on Amazon that you put around that part of the cable to prevent this from happening, so I hope that does the trick. Other than that, it's a great item. Works as expected. I prefer to buy Apple over other companies for the wire since the tablet is made by Apple.

Great iphone/ipad cord

We are an Apple household, so everyone has a device or two and we use lightning cables ALL THE TIME. I have used countless off-brand cables, and those always seem to break or stop working. Go with Apple brand cables for reliable charging, every time.
