Lifesaver Cable

I was truly amazed at the speed compared to USB 2.0/3 data transfer rate. 400+ GB of data was recovered from laptop when the graphic card went down. Was allowed to mount laptop as an external hard drive with this cable through Target Disk Mode. Pricing for off brands were about the same for Apple OEM, so i purchased the Apple brand.

The iTunes Home Sharing option worked, but while convenient, was slow due to WiFi bandwidth limitations. Thanks to recommendation of a bright and knowledge Best Buy professional, I purchased this cable and was genuinely amazed at how fast the files transferred over Thunderbolt!

There are many different items out there, not made by Apple, that have failed in a fairly short, and sometimes spectacular fashion. While Apple has had failures also, they are rare compared to other brands. At least when it comes to peripherals.
