    bought this to connect two imacs and use one in target display mode .. it works. the cable itself is a bit stiff compared to most apple cables and was a bit pricey .. felt like i was buying high priced hdmi cable but i'm glad i did

    I went looking for this and walked into best buy and immediately found it and took it home to transfer all my info from my macbook to my new iMac and it did it in about twenty minutes vs twelve hours transferring over wifi. Saved me time and patience.

    I bought this because I am sharing a lot of files from an external hard drive connected to my wife's computer right next to my desk, and this is as fast as if it is in the same computer the speed is really better than I thought.
