Works great to connect two computers, a must have for Mac lovers and to protect against computers crashing

If you are getting a new Macbook PRO, make sure you buy this with it. You now need a thunderbolt cord for EVERYTHING!

This a Thunderbolt cable worked exactly as it should. It's sturdy, the connection is solid, the speed is fast. Yup. Good stuff.

This is an apple product, so it is built very well. It is short, but that is what I needed for an external drive enclosure. This cable works with Thunderbot 2 type devices.

This cable works as it should, I connect my mac book pro to a thunderbolt dock station on my desk. Works great.

If you have a Mac and/or MacBook with a Thunderbolt port, and you have a monitor and/or external drive with Thunderbolt ports, then you need a Thunderbolt cable...it's as simple as that. Sure, you can go with the standard white cable, but that's boring. Besides, if you want to believe Apple's "Think Different" slogan, then why would you get the same white cables as everyone else. Live a little...break out of your "beige box"...get the black cable, instead.

When the standard cable is too long and the longest cable is way too long, you are set with this little shortie.

Recommendation would be to go with the longer cord option over the 0.5M length. Cord connects as advertised.

The cable is fine.. It's just too short.. Still gave it 5 stars but again, just needed longer
