I am very happy that i purchased this cable. it works great!

There are a lot of companies now making thunderbolt cables, but none seem to have the standards that Apple have when releasing their product. These other brands aren't as durable, reliable and cost effective as apple's own thunderbolt cables. Transfer speeds are fast and the cable works every time you need it.

Use of this product - digital audio cable - eliminated the need for a pair of RCA analog cables. Thus, this cable permitted the connection of a blu-tooth transmitter, which could be connected to the "open" analog cable inputs. Result: The transmitter "broadcasts" to a blu-tooth audio headphone for this flat screen.

It's an Apple-branded accessory, so you know going in you're paying a premium. Having gotten that out of the way, let's get to the point. If you're connecting a Thunderbolt 2/Mini DisplayPort device, most likely a monitor, to a MacBook with a Thunderbolt 1/2 connection, this cable is what you need to get that monitor working. There's not much more that needs to be said. This is a pretty straight forward accessory.

Great length and I really like the quality of the cable.

Same length as iPhone cable. It's useful for replacing damaged iPhone cables. Also it is great if you have iMac...if you ordered iMac with keyboard, trackpad & mouse; they only give you 1 cable. If I knew this I would have purchased them separate to get 3 free cables in package...oh well :-/ it is a good product

Essential for mac users with support for thunderbolt.

I bought this cord thinking I could use it with my 2016 touchbar macbook pro. I realized that once I got it out of the packaging, that it was actually a thunderbolt 2 type cable. That means it's physically the size of a Mini DisplayPort cable. It is built sturdily however.

I wanted to use my iMac in target display mode, so I needed a thunderbolt cable. There were cheaper options, but I didnt to risk my macbook or my imac with a knockoff cable. I havent used it for any other purpose, so I cant speak of its speed or antthing.

The 1 meter is just to short, the 2 meter is perfect.

The cable works exactly as expected, and as it was designed. I bought it to transfer my account from my old Mac to my new one and it did that job perfectly. The price (as with everything Apple) is a bit high, but you can either spend money up front, or waste time in the future trying to deal with the cheap junk you bought.

Chose this to extend MacBook Pro to second monitor

My 27" Thunderbolt display crashed a lot. I use it with my Apple laptop. I bought this cable to hook to the other female connection on my display to bypass the built in one on the display, it was a chance to take so I didn't have to scrape the display. It worked all is great now HAPPY COMPUTER!!

It does what it is meant to do, namely connect thunderbolt devices, perfectly. It runs from my Thunderbolt Display to a LaCie hard drive. I think it's about twice as expensive as it should be and as far as I know there are know alternatives but I love the convenience of this particular set up, TB display with late 2013 MBP +R.

What's to say? It works. It works fast. Wish it wasn't so expensive for such a short cable, but...

Thunderbolt is the new thing so we've got to get with the program. These cables are awfully expensive though.

I needed a cable, this wasn't it. Don't confuse it for a mini display port cable like I did. I wish they were cheaper but the quality is nice.

Needed a longer Thunderbolt cable than what came with the product and found an "open box" online and was able to pick it up at the store the same day. It was as good as new, works great and saved me money in the process. Store's online pickup very efficient and staff extremely helpful!

This product works very well.. so far so good. Doesn't bend or crack after two months
