I use this cable to connect between my AVID DNX I/O and the PC and it works like a charm.

The real purpose of this review is to note that Best Buy has upped the quality of training its sales associates. They are no longer just warm bodies. They actually seemed fMiliar with the items in the store and are much more service-oriented than the common big box retailer.

If you own a 2016 MacBook Pro then these cables are a must buy. I have 4 of them for various devices and uses and have yet to have any issues with them. I am happy that Apple went all TB3 with the new MBP, the adapters that I need for these cables are just temporary!

The cable is a standard apple thunderbolt cable and works as it should.

This is Apple's branded Thunderbolt cable (6.6'). If you do the math, that is ~$8/linear foot. Which is what we all should come to expect from Apple. On the flip side of that coin is the quality products that Apple produces, and the excellent Quality Assurance. Oh, and yes, the cable functions as advertised. Not that there are many reasons to purchase one for the uses are limited.

These are quality shielded cables but they do come at a cost 30 bucks

This cable works for audio and video but not power.like the new Thunderbolt 3 (USB C). Be careful not to confuse with the old mini-display cable and port on older Mac models, they are NOT the same thing even though the are the exact same connector.

In contrast to Apple’ usual product quality strengths, their cables don’t hold up well at all. However I find I need at least one Apple branded cable on hand for the times a 3rd party solution generates the inevitable message that “this accessory may not be supported.”

Well made but I wish it was shorter.It certainly does the job designed it was designed for but I use it for an off brand mouse and use the included connector so having a 5 inch dongle hanging out of the side all the time is sometimes distracting

I have now gone through 3 non-Apple cables and all have frayed at the lightening connector end. I do not consider myself rough on them but do have the cable plugged into a wall outlet with USB plugs. I do use the iPad while plugged so found that is the culprit of my issues.

Cable was able to connect 2 machines. Worked as advertised. No complaints.

If you have a Mac with Thundebolt 2, make sure you get the right cable. This is not the same as Thunderbolt 3, and the cables are not interchangeable. Don’t get anything other than Apple brand cables. Pricey but worth it.

I got this do display streaming apps from my iPhone to my TV, and it works perfectly. Beautiful display and sound through the HDMI outputs perfectly on my TV. You can even lock the phone to save battery life while it streams to the TV. Great product!

My last charger broke this is compatible with new MacBooks

Bought this to use with a MacBook Pro and it's perfect for the job.

This is is a great item, just a little upset that Apple got rid of the port on the new macbook pros. I guess with everything is wifi now I can see why. Its good to have this item for those hotels or local spots that still have the ethernet hookups for internet.

Solid rubbery feel, better than average and not just for the price.

Cord is perfect length for car charger and attaching to computer.
