    The item was broken. I took my computer to an Apple Store afterwards because I thought my charge port may have been damaged. When they used one of their chargers, it worked perfectly. They took the damage charger I bought from Best Buy and replaced it.

    I have to return this for another or refund. This one is having issues staying connected so the charge will stay on :( I know the BB will replace or issue store credit. It's just a hassle!

    Everytime I buy an apple computer for my family I have to replace one of these bricks. Apple should do a better job of strengthening the cords....

    Charger becomes frayed and unusable after a year. Terrible product but the only one you can use for newer MacBooks.
