    I was gifted a MacBook Air without a charger recently. I considered getting an aftermarket charger but decided it wasn't worth the risk. other than the Apple tax it seems great. Build quality is great and the higher wattage worked great so I'm glad I got the bigger version that will work with all MacBooks

    This is a third 85W MagSafe 2 Power Adapter that I am buying. Generally, It works well until some intermittent problems in charging a Macbook Pro start to happen. Some web links will recommend to literally sit on the (unplugged) adapter for 10 minutes to restore functionality. Unbelievable, ridiculous, but the trick does work. There is no alternative product though, that's why I would still recommend it to a friend.
