This charger is larger than the one that came with my Mac. Gets job done. Seems to charge faster.

Apple makes great products. this is a replacement for one that lasted 7 years. recently I've dropped my facebook, WhatsApp, and twitter account. account over their communistic style deprivation of free speech. If Apple doesn't back down i may have to do the same. our country and the constitution is more important to me than electronic toys that will wear out.

I needed it for my laptop to continue working. It did the trick

MacBook Pro charger with magnetic connector. I was very disappointed when Apple removed the magnetic connector for my iPad Pro. However I did enjoy the fact that Apple finally went to the USB-C that allows your computer to charge faster, but but After years of lprevious MacBooks being saved from being pulled off the table and possibly damaged every time my daughter would run through the area I was working in I was disappointed and expecting to pay hundreds of dollars in repair costs it was nice to see that there was an adapter that utilize the USB-C along with the safety net of the MagSafe adapter

I work exclusively from a Macbook Pro and connect to external monitors at home and the office. I always make it a point to have at least 2 power adaptors so I can leave one connected at the office and one at home. That way, I only ever need to pack an adaptor when I travel. It means a lighter bag, less time fidgeting with packing/unpacking with chords 4+ times per day, and the adaptors themselves lasting longer.

I accidently cut the cord on the original one that came with the computer. This one is identical and works perfectly.

It is exactly like the original charger, and it gets the job done fairly well. I have never experienced any problems with the cord nor the charger itself; too bad I lost my previous one. I guess as long as you do not organize the cord by stretching it and turning it sharply at the very end attaching to the charger, you are guaranteed a long time of use. I normally leave an inch or so of the cord at the end so that after being organized, there is no sharp turns.

I had to buy another charger because the flimsy cord of my original charger crapped out a couple weeks ago. I got the charger to last me 3 years but I just hate how expensive they are.

In case the one that came with the computer needs to be replaced, this is the exact same charger. Expensive, but it works.

Bit expensive but what can you expect from apple.. didnt have the 60w version instore, the guy there told me 85 watt is the same but that it only charges quicker..

I needed to purchase a replacement adapter and this was a great buy.

Until Apple switches to USB-C for all MacBook charging (it's currently only available for the latest 12-inch retina MacBook), we're all pretty much forced to buy Apple's MagSafe bricks. While MagSafe is an ingenious invention and the hardware design is top-notch, my experience at home and in the office is that the connectors can still break down if manhandled too much, or if you have a tendency to disconnect the cable by yanking on the cord (rather than pulling the aluminum magnetic connector part directly). For the price, it's a little disappointing that this isn't more hardy, but it's still well-designed and the standard in computer charging hardware.

These work perfect, I never have any issues with them. My cat(s) seem to love the taste or texture of the rubber on the cords as they love to chew on these bad boys. I've bought 3 for my MacBook and 2 for my wife's. It would be better if I could replace just the damaged cable portion, and not the whole expensive power brick part, but whatever. It always has been the thin cable, which is the cable that is not removable from the brick.
