This power adapter works well. I feel that it is expensive.

These Apple adapters have, I think, gotten sturdier, but overall, they're too fragile - particularly given what they cost. I try to go with third-party options, but I often finding myself needing one in a pinch when the old one finally frays. They work just fine; they're just always a bit disappointing when you look at the price tag and think about how recently you bought the last one.
