The charger works but I've only had it for a few months. My charger before this one lasted a few years and then the cord completely frayed. I'm hoping I get a solid few years out of this one because they're way too expensive not to hold up.

Needed a replacement for one of my apple products and this was it. Works for charging the laptop like the original charger.

Although the charger works well electrically, the magnetic connector isn't the best connection mechanism. The connector & charger need strain relief where they connect to the wire - the wire kinks and cracks at these locations. This is my 4th charger in less than 5 years.

Great adapter, got it on sale, even better! Couldn't beat the price.

My original charger cord acquired a kink, and wires are starting to be exposed. I purchased this one to replace the old one, but use one for home,and the other one for the office.

My old charger was ruined in the process of moving in to a new home, and I use my laptop every single day for work and school. And so when I found out about it, I quickly went to bestbuy to get a new one!

So I needed an Apple Charger, and Best Buy sells them, so I bought it from them. More convenient and faster than dealing with the Apple Store, so I say why not? If you need one of these, this is as good a way as any to buy one. Too bad they're moving to the USB C type as these are superior.

I have purchased a knock off power adapter for my Mac products in the past and always been burned. Will only buy certified Apple power adapters.

Got this extra one so I didn't have to carry charger between home and office. Great design. Glad to have two of them. Like that you can adjust the length of the cord in a neat and tidy design.

The product is made by Apple & for being a supposedly better product as opposed to their competition the quality is sub par. This is the 1st MacBook Pro so this is my opinion based on my past experience with adapters. This is the only cord that worn out & exposed with inner wires which led to the need to replace it. The other adapters ended up having a short due to time and catching on things which is understandable. That said I have never had one made with such thin material & it is disappointing considering the overall price. I am not a an of the magnetic connection either but it seems that is just the way they are making them anymore.

Excellent choice if your looking 5 a mac power supply

The charger is really good when it works, but this is my second time purchasing one. Even with careful use it only lasted me a little over a year, which is bad since it's not the cheapest.

Easy to lose but it is a little more affordable here

I've owned a MacBook for over 5 years. My original Apple 85W Magsafe 2 Power Adapter wore out with frayed wiring. I replaced it with identical equipment.

I only got this because the charger I had when I first bought my laptop broke a few days before finals. This cord is actually better then the last though, it’s thicker.

My girlfriend got this for her daughter, that thought she lost her's. Then, her's magically reappeared, and we ended up returning it, due to she didnt need two chargers.

It's the original power cord for the Mac computer. It works perfectly. Great design. I would never buy another brand even thou I do not know if there's a substitute for Apple power sources.

I thought I was going to have to get a whole new laptop but I tried a more powerful charger and it's like I have a brand new computer!

This is the third power adapter for my MBP since April 2013. The original adapter last 2 years before the cable ripped open and snapped at the magsafe adapter end. Same problem with the replacement I purchased 2 years ago.
