I always buy a 2nd power supply to take on the road with me. It just gets annoying plugging and unplugging and remembering to pack all of the cords I need. This one stays in my tech bag with the other travel cords along with a power strip. This one helps things charge quickly and efficiently.

It works exactly as expected. I was traveling and I brought the wrong adapter. I needed on quickly. A quick check online found several Best Buy stores had the adapter in stock so I was able to buy one and get back working.

If you can make do with the charger that comes with the computer, try to. Apple is notorious for high-priced cables and chargers and this is no different. I needed one for travel and one to stay at home, so I bit the bullet and got it. This lost two stars for price, not for performance. You might want to try to find a third-party charger or get one used.

This product works perfectly. I have not experienced any issues so far. Materials are high quality and should last for years with reasonable use. I am very pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend without hesitation.

Not sure what to say in a review, since as a Mac user, this is my only option. I replaced my old one, since it suffered the usual failure of the wiring near the magsafe connector. I've never had one of these power supplies actually burn out. It's always a cable failure at one of the attatchment points. I guess you just try to be as gentle as possible with them, and get as much life out of them as you can.

Had to replace charger for daughters MacBook. Dog was hungry. Good price and upgrade from her original 60w charger so her laptop can charge quicker. Just a few dollars more than the original charger and well worth it especially for a college student

This serves as an additional power cord for home to prevent the stress and wear-and-tear on the cord. The original cord I keep at work so I always have a power source. It works perfectly even with a MacBook Pro Retina display 13 in.

Our 8 year old charger stopped working and the battery was down to 3 %, so helpful Best Buy had this in stock

This charger totally work for my MacBook Pro because it is a charger that is made for the MacBook Pro. Therefore it is a great charger. If it was a charger for something other than a MacBook Pro it would probably not work as well. It is however, a charger for the MacBook Pro and so it works well.

Good charger, works good even after being open-box item

My only knock is that apple immediately went for usb3 for the next generation of mac. I only purchased mine a year ago (I guess I should have expected this.) So instead of borrowing a friends or room-mates charger temporarily, after my dog ate the charging cable that originally came with my mac, I was up a creek until I shelled out $80 (approximate, after tax) The new one works just like the original! Yippee!

My charger fried (this is what happens when you don't pay attention to voltage), so when I needed to make this right now, purchase. Best Buy saved me, and this charger is better than the one that I had. And I got it curbside.

This is a great product. I love the magnetic connection. These work really well and they last (I haven't had one break, I just wanted an extra). This is a bit pricey, but I think the convenience and quality make it worth the price.

So I forgot my Apple adapter on a recent trip and I thought I'd save some money by buying the generic version of this and guess when it stopped working? Yep when I needed it most. So a quick trip to Best Buy and I paid more for the Apple product and it has worked perfect ever sense.

The product is good and seems to last very long. I like the product.

this allows me to gain access to the world from behind my screen. Without this I stare at a screen that's as black as my soul!! thanks mag safe for allowing my dogs to pull you out without smashing my computer on the ground. highly recommend.
