Way overpriced but what else are you going to do? Works as advertised

Because it's Apple, it's unnecessarily expensive. However the real issues is that the little plug piece can be disconnected when changing between the adaptor and the extension cord. And it can become lost!Then you have to buy the entire product. This part is not sold separately.

This power adapter works well. It was the only option available at the time and the price was reasonable.

It's a bit expensive, but I got a third party one and it didn't work. If you need a second charger, just go with apple.
