    I mean what choice do I have when it comes to a charger for a mac... Apple needs better material than this cheap wire that breaks apart pretty easily. Its normal wear but still, My first charger did last 3 years and still going but the threading near the charger connector is all shredded and the wire is showing

    I have mixed feelings about this charger. It has a great magnetic connection design, but durability of the small thin cord just does not handle everyday abuse very well. At least I just had to replace the charger and have my wife's Macbook Pro up and running again. So if you need a new Apple charger OEM is the way to go.
