MacBook charging cables, even new ones, have a bad habit and turning brittle, with the insulation subsequently dissolving. This item was an open-box special for about $10 off, so a rare savings on a part that will inevitably fail.

The item is great design but not 100% sure of quality. After a year of owning my MacBook I had to replace the charger which is weird none of my other chargers did that. But the new one works great guess it's just random.

I purchased this product and it is missing the part of the charger that plugs in to my computer, the store won't take it back i contacted apple and they said i have to reach out to the store so i am out of luck of 85$ and now have to buy another charger else where

The item works better than the cord I am replacing, but it still does not have a magnetic strong response as I had expected.

This is a factory Apple charger. It has the high quality you expect from Apple.

I understand Apple's decision to go "thinner" but the MagSafe 2 is inferior to the MagSafe. Not much to say other than that - If you're here you already know Apple chargers are notoriously fragile but you can't get anything else.

I give three stars because most people are buying a MagSafe charger because their previous one did not last. I wish Apple chargers were more reliable.

I was given this product by a Best Buy sales associate and was told it was what I needed for my laptop. I had it plugged in for about ten minutes and then my laptop shut off and would no longer turn back on. After researching it online, I found that the charger was too big and killed my battery. Best Buy would not replace anything!!!

Power adapter for Mac Book pro. Works just like I would expect it to work.

My computer charger broke and I needed a new one and this one works great.

The Apple charger is functions well. The issue with it is it's design. The magnetic clip often becomes unattached from the computer. Also, as the cord wrap is used, the connection gets frayed where the wire meets the base.

I’ve had my computer for 11 years and this was my third time needing to replace my power cord. So, it needs replacing approx every 4 years.

Nothing to say but it cost $80 which is not worth!

The Apple charger works extremely well when plugged into the socket.

I left my laptop charger/adaptor in a classroom, but still had the extension cord part. I was disappointed to find that the adaptor wasn't sold separately from the cord. It was an expensive experience.

This product was a life saver, but the issue is I shouldn't need to be making this purchase. My Mac has lasted longer than two chargers, come on Apple beef up your chargers!

Bought for an older MacBook Air. It’s the same price as lower wattage unit. Minus star for typical overpriced apple product.

I was sent a broken charger and can’t get through to anyone to return it.
