Need more support at connections, I travel a lot and use constantly, needs to be more sturdy.

This is a good product but just like many apple products it doesn't last long.

Working with one of your employees, I was told this would work with my computer, but it didn't. Mistakes happen. I had to return it. No big deal! It's really kind of Apple's fault for constantly changing their ports - and not being clear about what plugs go with which computers on their packaging. Still love Best Buy!

This replaces the same charger that burned out within 1 or 2 years of intermittent use.

I should've been more prepared to purchase a replacement cord for my MacBook Air. All of my previous experiences were met with qualified and competent sales people. I assumed this visit wouldn't be any different. Salesperson explained that I needed the 85W charging cord. I accepted his recommendation and purchased the open box model, which was a few dollars cheaper. Upon opening the box, I realized that I had the wrong cable. Apple support site said that it wouldn't damage my MacBook Air but that it was essentially overkill. Further, the cord is inoperable. Surprise, surprise, I can't return an open box product. I'll chalk it up to one bad experience but frustrated nonetheless.

My title may seem dumb but being a regular at Best Buy due to their best in class add on warranties, price matching, and rewards certificates you would find this at a lower price anywhere else.

they still make magsafe 1. don't buy magsafe 2 there's no backwards compatible adapter

Does what it needs to however after a long time (about 2 years) it becomes unresponsive.

Apple's power adapters work fine, but the cables fry after a period of time.

I purchased this item to replace the original which began to crack exposing the wire. After reading reviews I found this is a common occurrence.I am attempting to find a way to store this and finding it hard to not flex/stress the wire in the same location. As there is no alternative product available it is an issue.

Short like, wish Apple made more reliable parts for longevity

this was a genuine apple product. it is a basic power white cord and works well

Too early to tell. Previous power adapter did not last longer than 2 years

I purchased this for my friend and I own similar product from other place. There is no reason to spend extra to buy this for a single feature that works the same. As you know, newer Macbook has started using usb-c charger, so you will not even be able to use this one with new model.

Only option for a power cord should yours break or become inoperable
