Poor longetivity like all Apple cords

You are lucky to get 6 months out of them before having issues. Be prepared to continually replaced them. Buy a cheap replacement instead of this because it will function the same and last just as long.

I hate these cords

It is of no fault of Best Buy, is is APPLE. Use technology to make these cords better. I would prefer a bulky one that does not break or fray. APPLE needs to fix it. We have not choice but to buy it

Over heats quickly

Didn't need the power chord only the adapter. Took 2 returns while standing at the register before Employee could finally understand what I wanted .Even though I had the old adapter with me
