Yep, it's a power supply for your Macbook. I mean, there's not much else to say. I really do miss MagSafe now that we're in this USB-C world. But, still...

This is a great power cord. It is easy to use with the magnet attached its so easy to hook up to your computer. The magnet also makes this cord extra safe if you have little kids running around. If they get caught on the cord it will simply pull out of the computer rather than pulling the laptop off of a table down on top of them.

Not much to say about this if you are already familiar with the charger that came with your Mac Book. One thing I will say is that the rubber they use on the cords near where the extension cable connects to the Power Supply starts to crack if you try and wrap it around the power brick (which is the reason for the 4 stars).

I know it's expensive, but don't settle for a bootleg off of Amazon. I've been there and it's only been a world of regrets. It's the price to pay for owning an old Macbook.

Purchased the wrong charger. This charger is for the latest MacBook Pro. I was able to test it out on my niece’s MacBook Pro and it worked just fine.

During a coworkers recent work trip, he realized he forgot his charger. This was not a purchase to replace a broken charger but was a necessity. He mentioned that these chargers last a long time!

I was wondering what was wrong with my computer and could not understand why my mac pro would not charge, tried taking it to the apple store directly, and after being looked at two times they figured it out. Come to find out it was not charging because it needed a new charger. Can't understand why , my mac was less than a year old and not used that much. Best buy ensured me that these chargers worth 80.00 should last longer than that, but mine didn't and I had to pay to get another one. I would think, e the year warranty on it would have covered the charger.

I had ordered the similar one from an online store and it was not charging as wick. Purchased from Bestbuy and no regrets.. works fine and reliable as always

The old saying that teachers hear all the time, "The dog ate my homework" appears to be applicable in this case, although I think it was actually a cat or maybe an accidental tug on the old one. Whatever the cause, the wiring on the old cord had split open and with bare wiring showing, it was time to replace. Unfortunately, the whole thing from wall to computer is the way that Apple chooses to take care of what may be a fairly common malady. This is the reason for the 4 rating. The only thing that we could salvage was the small removable piece of the block section. FYI - There are two similar replacement electrical connections. The cheaper one is for older models. The replacement that I required was the newer, more expensive one. If I had not gone into the store and talked with a clerk, I would have ordered the wrong one online. I could not tell the difference between the two by looks or by the 85W.

My cat broke my old adapter so I purchased a new one from bestbuy. It's being over a month and it works perfectly well. I'm glad that I bought it here rather than apple store because bestbuy members can get rewards.

I purchased this charger because the original one that came with my MacBook Pro, stopped working after 4 years. Great chargers overall, just a little pricey.

I needed a a replacement charger for my Mac, this was great. It charges it so fast & doesn't hurt my computer. I bought a knock-off off Amazon and it was so slow

It’s Apple. Their products are great. You can tell by the price you pay. I do wish this charger had a private label manufacturer option that was cheaper. Works perfect though.

I needed a spare to go with the new MacBook Pro I purchased at Best Buy. Always helps to have an extra in the car when traveling to avoid having to tote the one I use at home when I'm out and about.

I bought two of these; one because I wanted a spare and the second because my cat decided to play with the one that came with my Retina MBP. Unfortunately she managed to bite on the thin side of the cable and put two punctures through it, effectively killing it. I'm glad she didn't end up like the cat from Christmas Vacation, and that she didn't brick my laptop. As for the charger, it's versatile in that you can extend its length, which I always do. I never understood the 'hooks' on the brick part of the charger, and the only con is the cost, but all laptop chargers are expensive. So if you need a spare (or a replacement) charger for your macbook pro with a magsafe 2 connection, buy in confidence.

This Apple charger for a MacBook Pro has a magnetic DC connector that is functional and is designed to disconnect if the cord is strained. The 85W charger charges the computer fast.

very expensive but it works great. I would buy again if I needed another. the alternative is nothing to charge my laptop lol

This is a better charger than off-brand chargers I have used. Better construction, thicker wire, longer lasting. Factory OEM always beats after-market.
