Charges the laptop, lights up, does all of the functions you’d expect an Apple laptop charger to do

Great charger high speed charging and doesn’t concern me in the quality.

Needed replacement charger for MacBook Air and this did just the trick. Already had the extender so this was the base I needed. Still works 11-20-25

Look when it comes to tech we learn as we go. After going to Apple and to several authorized Apple repair shops, and being turned away by all due to cost, I decided to install new laptop batteries in my MacBook Pro myself. After purchasing and installing the batteries I discovered my old cord was not going to work with the new batteries. I’m not an electrician so I dont know. All I know is this used cord looks brand new and works great. Kudos to 1 store employee went out of his way to help me test the cord with my laptop. There were one too many who were unsure if they should help a customer or continue to talk to each other.

I bought this as a replacement for the charger that originally came with my MacBook. The rubber that covers the charger began to break. And the wires inside ravelled and split. This was a good choice seems more sturdy than original and rubber around vulnerable areas seems stronger. It's pricey though $80 just for a charger

My refurbished MacBook Pro was delivered with a off brand 65W charger, which worked for 9 months. While on vacation the charger quit and just blinked green. At first I thought it had to be the laptop, but Best Buy allowed me to try their Apple charger, and it worked! I'd considered trying a cheap online replacement, but read reviews saying they were on their third charger. The Apple charger is more expensive, but it is the right tool for the job. Worth it!

Seems I need to buy one of these every so often because my cat decides to chew mine up. There is something about that thin rubber like cord I guess. Anyway, this new one works great. It's original Apple stuff and nice you can get it so easily when you find your old one has teeth mark and doesn't work.

There's no getting around the price point of this adapter, but to look elsewhere would be a waste of your time. Buy Apple the first time around and save yourself time and heartache searching for a knockoff. The first adapter lasted just over 4 years, and this was after being wrapped and unwrapped and placed in my backpack repeatedly.

This is the same power supply that comes with Apple's 15" MacBook Pro. Compared to other computer brands, this is the same price, or cheaper than their power supplies. The 85Watt adaptor is slightly larger in size than the 60W and 45W adaptors but can be used in place of either. I bought this one to leave plugged in at my desk.

I purchased this adapter so I wouldn't have to crawl under my desk every time I travel. It works great and solved a problem for me. Sure, the price is high, but the price is very similar to adapters from other computer manufacturers also. I use this on a 13" Macbook Pro with Retina Display (2013 model) and it is fully compatible.

Better quality then what came with my laptop. Pricey but better quality. My original cord was severing near the end of the cord where you put into the laptop. This new cord is reinforced with rubber around the end of the cord and I trust it won't break open and expose/ break wires like the original

The only charger to use. Has a very nice cord. Charges fast quite expensive…

This charger was reassuringly overpriced as only an authentic Apple product can be. I am extremely impressed with how it charges my MacBook Pro, converting electricity to battery power like a champ . Highly recommended for anyone who has misplaced their charger or perhaps found theirs irreparably chewed by a pet.

Clearly this is as good as the original adapter, it's the same. That said, I have mixed reviews about the Macbook power adapters, which see to be the weakest part of their design. Magsafe is great, no complaints there, but their cables are (as usual) too thin, and the way that they come out of the block might look nice, but overall I find it less useful than the much more utilitarian look of the Dell adapters that wind so much easier and feel much more durable.

You can’t beat the official apple chargers, they work perfectly. The only downside is the price, very expensive for a charger but you can price match with other retailers, like Amazon, that have it much cheaper.

I travel a lot and like to keep one power supply at my work and the other at my hotel so i do not have to plug in and out 4 times a day. I had just bought a new Mac and the fitting on the power supply had changed size since the old style. This item works fine and I expect years of good service out of it.

The charger for my MacBook Pro stopped working, so I picked up this replacement. It works perfectly, as expected! Not much else to say here - it's pricey because it's Apple but I wouldn't trust another vendor to provide power to the laptop. Recommended, but hopefully you can find it on sale!
