The original charger my MacBook Pro with retina display came with was the 60W charger. So I bought this one and it was a miracle tool for me! It not only served its purpose but my computer charged faster with this one versus the 60W one! If you ask me I recommend buying this one from the start!!!!

Its fairly pricey, but apple branded charges really do seem to have the superior quality and is rated at the actual wattage. Others cut corners and lie about ratings but this one is true to the rating and charges my MacBook pro really quickly.

The price is a bit crazy for a charger, but it's Apple so what do you expect. It works great.

I bought this because the salesperson suggested it over the other lower wattage versions. For my older MacBook Air, I really didn't need a large wattage power adapter, but it does charge my computer pretty quick. The only downside is that it is quite a bit larger than the original power adapter that came with my MacBook Air.

I've had 3rd party MacBook Pro chargers and they're all deficient in some way (cable fraying, flat out stopped working, etc). This is an original Apple charger and works great.

My Mac is on basically 24/7 and the battery runs low relatively quickly because of the CPU-intensive work I do on it. This charger can get it back to 100% very quickly and that's exactly what I needed.

This was my second attempt when replacing my charger for my MacBook pro. The previous one was not certified and eventually overheated and stopped working. This one charges without getting excessively hot, making it worth buying a certified Apple charger.

I have tried many other chargers which advertised as good as the original one. However they are all hot and not stable as this oem charger. Make sure you purchase this one for your 15 inches macbook, not the 60W.

What more could you ask for? It's a charger, and it works perfectly. I haven't experienced any issues; just ensure you match the charger correctly to the appropriate device.

My boyfriend’s MacBook was convinced that his battery in his laptop was shot. I told him I would get him a new charger & then see what happenings. Luckily all he needed was a new MacBook charger & the MacBook works like brand new again! I have recommended this to anyone I know that has a MacBook if they are having battery issues!

The best charger Apple has ever created. It works like a charm. The magsafe has freed me from many accidents with the laptop. I use it all the time since my battery is not very good and the charger has never been overheated. I recommend it.

Trying to save money, I made the mistake of buying knockoff brands from computer repair shops and went through 2 in just over a year. So I ended up spending more in the end. Glad I got the authentic charger this time!

I bought it after my dog chewed my charger. I had no issue so far with this product. It's apple standard charger that's what my Mac needed. but I think it's little costly but since it's Apple original product so it has to be costly:)

This was perfect. Thankfully my store had an open-box version for $15 less, as these units are EXPENSIVE - anything Apple I guess... Googling said these units rarely go bad. Mine did, and this was a perfect match, and worked like a champ.

Of course you pay premium for apple products, however for the price you pay you get a quality product. My original magsafe 2 charger is still going strong and I ABUSE my chargers. I travel a lot and bring my chargers everywhere, sometimes leaving them around to be stepped on. This is a nice charger. Also it charges my macbook pro extremely fast!

Needed replacement charger for MacBook Air and this did just the trick. Already had the extender so this was the base I needed. Still works 11-20-25
