Works great to charge an old tablet I had. Would recommend.

My original charger seemed like a rat chewed it so I went ahead and went to Best Buy to purchase this new charger. Wattage is a lot more and charges my macbook faster and it’s been holding up well. Would recommend

I was hesitant at first bcoz it was expensive but then they put it on sale. Got this for my husbands macbook and its been great so far.

Apple's 85W MagSafe 2 Power Adapter is Apple's standard charger for the 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display. I bought two of them, one was an open box special at $10 off. Both chargers worked as expected and included the extension cord. The magnetized DC connector is particularly useful.This is a well-designed charger that lives up to Apple's standards.

I would never substitute a third party charger or plug for my Mac so first of all, this is a great product. I had to purchase a new one because after 10+ years of, uh, not-so-careful-use, the cable finally got a stress fracture. I was sooooo lucky to find an open-box charge at Best Buy on the day that I needed one. So yes my friends, it is possible to purchase an Apple charger at less than the full retail price.

Fast charging. Dependable. Long cord so makes it very flexible and accessible.

Works as expected and has the high quality you’d expect from Apple, as well as the high price tag.

Would give 5 stars, but as usual apple products are on the pricey side. But overall it does what it is suppose to do with out any issues...charge my MacBook. I do wish apple would make one of a slimmer design though.

I don't think I can buy a new technological device nowadays without buying a spare charger. I only had one for my Mac Air and it was always a pain to constantly unplug it at home when I'm rushing to get to class or just leaving the house in general. Having a spare charger that I can keep in my laptop bag made my life that much easier. Plus, purchasing the 85W was cheaper compared to purchasing the smaller adapter. Bigger charger for less and it charges faster was a win for me.

I was disappointed that this charger broke twice on me and had to be replaced both times. I am glad that on the new chargers, you can buy the cord separate from the brick in case the cord has issues. Other than that, it works great, as is usual for Apple products. Just overpriced.

Great buy. Lasts a long time unless you get a lemon. Be careful, if the cord turns brown, call Apple for a free replacement. It could catch on fire.

This charging adapter has worked as designed with no flaws. It’s bulky but gets the job done.

I had been using a charger on its last leg with an older model Apple Laptop. I’m very skittish when it comes to technology and the process at Best Buy was made so easy by the employees there. They knew exactly what I needed for my older model and it works great. Couldn’t be happier.

The cable charges the laptop quickly. The Magnetic DC Connector, which is the end that plugs into the laptop, is too easily dislodged. Meant to protect the laptop from being knocked to the ground if someone trips over the cord, the downside of the design is that the cord slips too easily from the laptop, sometimes unnoticed. The magnetic connection often is interrupted when I move the laptop.

This charger is everything one would expect from an apple product. Quality, reliable, but unfortunately overpriced at $80. The nice thing about the 85W version is comparability with all size MagSafe 2 MacBooks.

If you like to keep your MacBook charged buy this power adapter. Not only does it charge your mack, you get a nice, high quality adapter
