Great compatibility
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well, I was in the market for a 60w power adapter, but BB only car carried the 80w and I needed it to turn in a school assignment that day. So I contacted Apple support and verified that the the 80w would work for my mid 2015 MacBook Pro. Apple stated that the MacBook Pro would regulate the wattage and only allow up to 60w, meaning that it would not damage the battery over time.

To be fair, I'm on the move so I'm constantly wrapping the cord up and bringing it with me. Under those circumstances I'm kind of pleased it lasted me as long as it did. Now I have extra cords and leave them where I need them and simply take my laptop with me when I go. Works just as it should with never a glitch!
