Hope they are working on improvements to the chargers life expectancy. This is my second replacement since getting laptop just 4 years ago, they keep shorting out, I think.

Never again! This product was a little bit more expensive than the generic brand, but what a tremendous difference! There is no substitute for quality!

I went online and was tempted to buy a non apple replacement for way less $ but after reading the reviews I changed my mind, headed to BB and all is good. No worries about damaging my MBP.

I was home and was able to purchase it and take it with me back to medical school. I was really saved because mine went out and I didn't have time to hunt this cord and was able to have it for class the next day after I got off the plane.

I found an discounted open box charger. The price was lower than those online and despite the open box it appeared unused. What luck!
