This one's a no brainier. Mac power supply works for Mac computers.

The Apple - 85W MagSafe 2 Power Adapter with Magnetic DC Connector is inexpensive "insurance" so that I always have a power source for my laptop, whether at home or away from home. The magnetic DC connector is a brilliant idea!

The item is amazing, it has a long cord and it allows me to be further away from a plug. I really like it.

What do you do when you accidently run over your power cord for you Mac while vacuuming and it chews the cord up? Well you head to BB and hope they can help you! Minutes later I walk out with a new replacement cord and am happy!

Misplaced my cord and had to buy another, so I opted for BestBuy given my familiarity, their great pricing and reliability. The Power Adapter was perfect as a replacement for my OEM cord. Great value for the money as well.

Was purchased to replace adapter from the original. It is working as it should particularly also for the price paid. Moving forward, it is hoped that the cord would be made more sturdier to avoid it becoming frayed sooner than later.

It is unfortunate that Apple's power supplies, despite their attractive design, clearly suffer from a design flaw where the cable insulation fails, usually right at the connector. When that happens to you, this is what you need.

My OEM charger stopped working. Apple said my motherboard failed and wasn't supplying power. Come to find out with my own testing it was the charger that wasn't working. Saved myself $450 by buying this $66 charger (on sale).

Best Buy has sound reasons for putting Apple 'MagSafe' replacement chargers right at the front of the store. Of all the many Apple products I've owned (and used -- hard) since the late 1970s, the 'MagSafe' chargers for its laptops exemplify the very BEST -- and the very WORST of Apple Engineering. 1. The AC connector is the VERY BEST connector for ease of use, "bulletproof" strain relief and reliable longevity of any Apple product. Although replacement chargers come with a new AC cable, I'm still using the AC cable from the first charger for my 2006 17" MacBook Pro! 2. The DC connector/cable is the VERY WORST of all Apple products I've owned. They overheat, and the insulator material soon turns GREEN (Cu+ ions diffusing from the hot conductors) and gooey. Strain relief on the tiny MagSafe connector is basically nonexistent -- making connector failure a certainty. And that terrible cable/connector IS NOT REPLACEABLE -- forcing users to buy multiple replacements of the ENTIRE charger system. (I have bought six!! -- including six superb, still-new AC cables / connectors!) So -- SHAME on Apple for letting the abysmal MagSafe materials/design persist for decades -- and KUDOS to Best Buy for making replacement purchase as quick and painless as possible! Yes Apple overcharges on their products but I was able to use this to not only charge my macbook but also my other devices using USB-C. great investment for a quality charger.

Lost my charger and this was a factory replacement. Works perfect.

A bit expensive, but what can you expect for a $2k computer? My real issue is the quality. I treat these things pretty gently, but like any of my other Apple cables, they constantly break and I have to buy new ones. If I can say anything positive, it charges fast.

So glad that i got my power adapter to replace the original one that i lost during my travel to Austin Texas. Love how it works for my macbook. Fast and reliable. Same as my original one. Highly recommended.
