    This item is an absolutely necessary accessory for my 2012 MacBookPro Retina. And this is my third replacement! It surprises me that no lawyer has yet thought of a class action lawsuit against Apple for the way their power supply cords fail! Wish I'd saved the old one so I could take photos to show how the outer covering on the low voltage cord deteriorates and cracks off.

    The original charger was damaged bought this too replace it, was cheaper at best buy then from manufacturer

    this power adapter works great, but you know its seriously overpriced for what it does. All aboard the Apple overpriced train. Look at the pretty shiny objects!

    I had replace my cord recently. They do not last as long as they used to. It is a bit pricey when they maybe last for about 2 years.
