I was going to buy a 60W MagSafe 2 power adapter to replace my original adapter for my 13" MacBook Pro. The store didn't have the 60W but they did have this 85W adapter, for the same price as the 60W. The benefit to me is that it charges my 13" MBP faster than the original adapter for the same price. Thanks to BB for having someone knowledgeable at the store to direct me to this product as a replacement for the 60W version.

Needed a replacement and this one did the job. A bit expensive though.

Anything Apple is great. I have three power supplies, all are factory built. I have had bad luck with 3rd party brands.

Apple makes a fortune on these adapters. They should make with a stronger cord so they last longer.

Never Fails me, I use my laptop chargers at home and on the road. Always best to buy original apple

I purchased this as a replacement for my original charger. This is as good as the original.

Great Apple design. Easily attaches to computer by magnet and detaches if pulled so it won't break.

These MagSafe 2 power supplies are great. Like other Apple gear they're an elegant solution and they *just* *work*. The built-in cord holder and magnetic connector work great. And the modular power connector is cool, too - you can leave the long power cord at your desk and quickly swap on the folding plug for travel. They are an odd shape. They're sortof flat, though, and smaller than many other laptop power bricks, so they pack easily in a bag or case.

I had a bunch of original magsafe chargers for the rest of my laptops, but my most recent company laptop was new enough to require a new one. I had one charger, but its always good to have a spare, so I went and bought a second one. Heres a hint. Always ask if they have any refurbished or customer return units for a discount. I always trust buying them from Best Buy rather then online, since i KNOW i'll get a genuine unit.

My old one frayed after 4 years, serious trouper. The newer models seem that they're made even better.

Lost my original. Works well and does what it is supposed to do...charge my Mac book pro.

What can I say, my charger broke so had to buy a new one. I wish apple would make them a little cheaper:)
