A must have

I give it no more than a year and you will be replacing it. So, with that said, you have to buy an official Apple product. At least when you do it works properly not like those cheap off brand products.

However, unlike subsequent USB-C powered Macs and the latest MagSafe 3 Macs, the power brick of this generation has the cable permanently attached - so when the cable goes bad the whole brick needs to be replaced - online now when you can just replace the cable.
