Had to buy a new one for my Mac laptop. Kind of shocking to have to spend $80 for a new one but I guess I’m thankful they make replacements and didn’t require me to buy a new laptop! Gotta look for the good where I can!

Apple replacement part works for Apple PowerBook
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My only complaint is that BestBuy didn't stock the 65W unit which would have been an exact replacement for the original, but they charge the same price for all Apple power supplies, and having a slightly bigger power supply doesn't hurt. I wish other laptop manufacturers would use something like MagSafe -- somebody just broke my Lenovo laptop power supply by yanking on the cord so hard the tip of the connector broke off!

But such is life (have had my MacBook since 2013, so I guess it was just time). Anyhow, very happy with this purchase and price! You could eve purchase a previously opened one to save some money, just a fyi.

Must have accessory for Mac

My son is notorious for leaving his connector dangling from the wall outlet after charging. Inevitably it gets stepped on, but amazingly it stands up to this abuse without signs of wear and tear.
