Left my Mac power cord in a hotel. Had to get a new one. Works great!

I have purchased the Mag Safe 2 power pack for my Mac Book Pro that I use for audio projects. The assurance of genuine Apple products is necessarry with this product. An essential way to stay safe with my powering of the great machine for my shows. Thank you

Magsafe is the way to go! There have been many times when the cord has been yanked on accident and the Mag feature most likely saved the need for repairs amd/or wear on the power port.

Works like expected. But had to replace due to wire casing separation at connector end. For as much as you pay, Apple cords are known to be horrible with wire casing quality.

My daughter lives in Cambodia and had a neighbors pet bunny get loose. It found its way to chew her power cord to shreds. We were making a trip over and they reached us just in time. The salesman was very helpful in showing me just the right product.

Best Buy has sound reasons for putting Apple 'MagSafe' replacement chargers right at the front of the store. Of all the many Apple products I've owned (and used -- hard) since the late 1970s, the 'MagSafe' chargers for its laptops exemplify the very BEST -- and the very WORST of Apple Engineering. 1. The AC connector is the VERY BEST connector for ease of use, "bulletproof" strain relief and reliable longevity of any Apple product. Although replacement chargers come with a new AC cable, I'm still using the AC cable from the first charger for my 2006 17" MacBook Pro! 2. The DC connector/cable is the VERY WORST of all Apple products I've owned. They overheat, and the insulator material soon turns GREEN (Cu+ ions diffusing from the hot conductors) and gooey. Strain relief on the tiny MagSafe connector is basically nonexistent -- making connector failure a certainty. And that terrible cable/connector IS NOT REPLACEABLE -- forcing users to buy multiple replacements of the ENTIRE charger system. (I have bought six!! -- including six superb, still-new AC cables / connectors!) So -- SHAME on Apple for letting the abysmal MagSafe materials/design persist for decades -- and KUDOS to Best Buy for making replacement purchase as quick and painless as possible! Great product with ease of use. Found it in a snap at the local store.

To save the buyer some trouble, as long as the port is the same on your Mac, this will work. Higher wattage chargers will work with lower wattage laptops, but not the other way around. Be smart, get the higher power one just in case.

The product does its job. It is, however, a bit big and clumpy.

Works great but expensive for sure. It is definitely an apple product.

Sadly, Apple plans on sucking as much money from us as possible. This magsafe 2 charger is the last one to include everything you'll need to charge a computer with. Next time you buy a charger, you have to spend extra on the cable and the extension chord.

Does all I need to keep all my devices charged. The service was great.

This a a great charger but is a little overpriced.

As with any cord over time, they basically get destroyed. I either opt on getting one online or in store. This time I happened to be in-store, it's the same ole power supply that originally came with my Macbook Air so there's no skimp on quality.

My son lost his power adapter for his new Macbook. I couldn't get to an Apple store and delivery was too slow because he needed the computer for a project the next day. I was super happy that I could get this at Best Buy and get him back up and running.

The item is amazing, it has a long cord and it allows me to be further away from a plug. I really like it.
