Had to replace my computer charger because my niece/nephew closed the cord in the recliner and became frayed. The original product lasted approx 7-8 years, GREAT product. I like that it comes with the additional extension cord now, because I don’t remember that being the case when the charger came with my MacBook.

Needed to replace this item thanks to my daughter's sassy ferret. Works as expected. Thought it could have been a lot less money though.

This power adapter works as expected but be prepared to pay for the name.

I see no reason why you should have to pay $80 after you bought a $1300 computer, but it functions great, fairly lightweight, and charges fast.

Authentic, reliable power adapter that I know I can rely on (unlike the "authentic" ones I've bought on eBay at 1/4 the price that burn up and probably pose massive fire risks). Like all Apple products, the price is too high, but was able to snag one of these as an open box and save a decent amount.

After misplacing my original Apple charger, I bought an inexpensive one and it tended to run hot. I didn’t feel as comfortable leaving my laptop to be charged for extended amounts of time. I broke down and bought this Apple one but cannot day it’s worth the price I paid. I’m sure, with more research, there’s another one out there that would be more affordable and just as safe.

It's a little thicker than the standard cable but juices things up fast.

My wife's MacBook started acting fussy and we read that the adapter might be the problem so we picked this up. Seems to have worked well and haven't had that same issues since. I don't know what else you can say about it, it looks nice sitting on the floor between charges?!

Does what it’s expected to do. It’s expensive but better than the knock off versions that you’ll get on Amazon.

It works as great with my wife’s work Mac. So now she doesn’t have to worry about it losing charge when she forgets the item at work.

I left my MacBook charger (power adaptor) at home while traveling and popped into a Best Buy and quickly purchased a replacement. The great thing is that it is an exact replacement, the not so great thing is that it is quite pricey. But you get what you pay for and once you use a Mac nothing else quite does it. I could continue on with my travels with no worries.

When it comes to your thousand dollar purchase of an apple product, do not try to go cheap and find an aftermarket product with sub-quality electronics that could potentially destroy or prematurely wear out your computer. A good purchase route is to buy open box from Best Buy. Saves you a couple bucks without compromising on quality.

does the job, quality product but expensive for a charger, the extension is useful and not included with the one you get with the macbook pro.

Wow! A Power Cord! What ever will these brilliant people think of next? I understand that beneath the shiny lead-based plastic sheathing there are little Smurfs who carry the electrons form the Electron Factory's Outlet down through that white tube and pour their sacks of electrons into the receiving chute of my electro-magnetically docked connector. Amazing job, little dudes!
