Why is this very heavy? Its very cumbersome to travel with and even at home, to connect it is very impracticql

I was sent a broken charger and can’t get through to anyone to return it.

Its charges my 13" MBP! USB-C... you need to buy another cable just to make this work... which kind of sucks..

Pleased With the purchase and does exactly what I bought it for.

This gets hot while charging, is bulky and won't stay plugged into a wall socket without engineering a support. Have to even be careful as to which slot in my power strip I plug it into because it doesn't engage with them all. It's weird how Apple can create great devices but can't create chargers for them that aren't lame. Kinda have to buy it if you have this computer model though.

This was the first adapter i picked up but it was not the one i needed for my particular year macbook. Exchange was very easy though

I had to return this product because the adapter couldn't fit into the socket of my MacBook Pro.

Yeah, it works. Is it worth the price? No. But what choice does an Apple user have?

This is my 3rd 85W MagSafe 2 charger in a little over a year. I was hoping the MagSafe 2 would be an improvement over the original MagSafe, but I've actually had worse luck with this one. They always seem to work great for a while and then they just stop. The LED light will stop lighting up; the computer will show it's connected to a charger, but will not actually charge and then eventually it won't even show that it's connected. SMC resets and all other extensive troubleshooting I try never fix the problem. The last one I bought literally lasted for 24 hrs. When they are working well I like them. I like the quick connect/disconnect of the magnetic connection. This current one has been working for over a month, so hopefully it continues on for a while. Maybe one day Apple will come out with a better product for a much more reasonable price...

These break all the time. Probably to bring in more money for Apple.

These chargers break really easily but they are the official charger, so i have to get it regardless

This powercord does what a powercord should do.... This purchase was replacement after two years because the old cord broke

Yes, as we all know this cables last for 3-4 years max. No option. Got to buy them again. This is my third one.

In terms of performing its job, this is a good charger. However, the predictable breakdown of the wire near the mag connector is getting old. I have to replace this charger about every 18 months. It's expensive. It should last. It could last if Apple wanted it to.

My original power adapter still works but the jacket is ripping. A common issue with Apple's power adapters.

I wish apple would make these more durable, connector in my old one had a short in it. not my first failure.

Like most apple chargers the original went out, let’s hope the replacement lasts me a bit longer.

Always need to replace these. Apple makes great products, just wish they didnt fall apart.
