Buy from other place for less

There is no reason to spend extra to buy this for a single feature that works the same. As you know, newer Macbook has started using usb-c charger, so you will not even be able to use this one with new model.

Poor longetivity like all Apple cords

You are lucky to get 6 months out of them before having issues. Be prepared to continually replaced them. Buy a cheap replacement instead of this because it will function the same and last just as long.

Over heats quickly

I hate these cords

It is of no fault of Best Buy, is is APPLE. Use technology to make these cords better. I would prefer a bulky one that does not break or fray. APPLE needs to fix it. We have not choice but to buy it
