Exactly what I needed

It comes with an extender to lengthen an additional 5 feet if needed, but I usually just use the smaller part. No concerns about overheating. Bought it to replace the cord that came with the MacBook. Would definitely repurchase if ever need another one.

Does What A Charger Should

I have had no connectivity issues with this, the magnets are still strong, there is no evidence of breakage at any point in the cable shielding, and the connectors are still tight.

Good Product. Durability is Questionable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Apple has been know for outstanding products and the last thing you want to be concerned with it the AC adapter. The new adapter seem to be less durable that the previous models. I've owned and currently own MacBook Pros, iMac and previous to 2010 I've never had to replace an AC adapter until my new MacBook Pro purchased in 2012. Same usage as the previous which 3 years plus on the previous items.
