The original wiring would not hold onto the magnetic spot. Best Buy sales rep went directly to the spot where the replacements were stored. In a heartbeat everything was working just fine!

And this is my third replacement! It surprises me that no lawyer has yet thought of a class action lawsuit against Apple for the way their power supply cords fail! Wish I'd saved the old one so I could take photos to show how the outer covering on the low voltage cord deteriorates and cracks off.
