Necessary Evil

I don't trust any third-party- or off-brand manufacturer charger and the risk of it being faulty to charge my MacBook Pro. Aside from the price the durability is questionable: I had this charger for a month using it in office conditions and I'm still surprised by the scuffs and scrapes I've amassed. Point is just bite the bullet and be safe.

Fixed my charging problems

With my multimeter I determined there was a short in the magnetic end connector. That said, a replacement was needed as I didn't want to take the chance of trying to fix and short out my PC by fixing the old charger.
