Very compact and stable

Great to charge very much any USB C device. At 87 W very much any Windows or Apple laptop can be charged. I used it to fast charge my iPad and iPhone as well. It is one of the smallest, greater than 80 W, power adapters.

stick with genuine apple chargers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i've used cheap knockoffs in the past and bricked BOTH my mid-2015 macbook pro and my late 2011 macbook air. took them to apple, and they cited a faulty logic board. ever since, i've ONLY used genuine apple chargers even though they cost 3x the price. better safe than sorry.

This seems really cheap for Apple to sell just the adapter and not include a cable. Also not clear on the packaging that the cable is not included! Apple needs to quit being so cheap and provide the end user with everything they need for their laptop.

Needed an extra brick.

My old 2015 macbook pro replacement cable at least let you connect from the wall to the computer. This is ONLY THE POWER BRICK! You will have no way to connect it to your MacBook. You also need to buy the $30 USB-C cable. Classic Apple.

Expensive but necessary

To avoid this situation repeating itself, I purchased another power block for my home office to ensure it never happens again. I exhausted the internet to see if I can find a cheaper solution. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. So I took a big gulp and made the purchase. It's the best thing out there. Period.

Too exp for an extra charger

Great price for the item I wanted

I expected to pay much more than I did for it. So now I have one for both locations I travel to the most.
