This is the same charger that you would use old MacBook but with the detachable USb c chord. Love the accessibility of it. I just wish it came with the cord also

This design is better than the previous because you can put your own length of USB C cable on it. On my keyboard rig (I'm a musician) I have a short cord with the AC extension connected.

This adapter was an Apple certified product and works perfectly with my new Macbook Pro. I use this one as my "travel" adapter and the original that came with the laptop stays home.

Not a fan of apple’s strategy to sell the USB C cable separately. But it does what i need it to do. 3 stars only because its an incomplete charging solution for the price of my old Mac charger that came with a cable.

solid, great design, it fit on my electric power extension for 4 without taking too much space so I can have for devices all charging at the same time.

This is the brick that’ll charge all of apples moble products ranging from the iPhone all the way up to 15” MacBook Pros. Newer iPhones and iPads will be fast charging with this brick.

I use this as a second adapter at work so i can leave the one that came with my computer at home. Works great, no complaints. Wish it were cheaper, but apple... Quality is great though.

If you have one of the newer iPhones (from 8 and newer), it can handle fast charge!! This is awesome and so fast especially if you use your phone while charging! I have two of these!

I purchased this second charger for my new MacBook Pro to prevent having to unplug and disconnect my charger at work each time I wanted to travel. It fits great in the small pouch on my computer backpack.

This charger does what it needs to do but doesn't come with the extra extension cable and doesn't come with the USB C charging cable. The charger also doesn't have the cable "wrap" ears on it which makes it feel cheaper than the original power adapters.

It's a bit expensive, but it's great quality. Most of the cheaper ones I've seen or tried don't have nearly the same build quality. I do wish it came with the USB-C cable, but given that it doesn't...

this is a really nice quality adapter and I recommend having more than one if you need to carry your laptop with you. leave one at home at your desk, take the other in your bag.

Apple adapters are all made of high quality. Make sure you know this is the correct adapter for you...newer mac laptops use USBc but older ones use MagSafe.

Got an extra for my 15 MacBook Pro thunderbolt 3 edition. Super compact-- able to just leave in my bag without taking up much space. The ability to unplug the cable saves from tangles and saves time.

Everyone needs at least 3. I keep a power supply at the office, one at home and one in my bag. I don't ever want to get caught without power, and keeping your laptop charged expands the battery life.

Needed a new Charger since I lost mine. I bought an open box item, which did not work at first, but exchanged it for a new one at a different store and now it works as intended

Compared to all the previous power supplies, the only thing this one does correctly is use USB-C. There are no indicator lights that you have power from the plug you connected, there's no way to wrap the cord around the power supply like previous Apple power cords. Apple doesn't even include an extension cord which makes it nearly impossible to plug this into any conference table power source because of how large and bulky this thing is.

This product does not come with a cord. Why on earth would I ever want half of a laptop charger that is packaged and marketed as a complete and normal laptop charger with a chord?!

I like to have Apple brand cords, and was especially glad to get a back up cord for new MacBook. Feel there is better quality and longer compatibility using branded cords.

Functionally it is what it is, an Apple macbook charger. However Apple has decided not to include the cable so that's an extra purchase, one more reason this is even more expensive that it was / should be.
