Quality Apple product as always! Needed a replacement after leaving mine in a hotel and got a deal on this which was nice compared to full price.

Heads up, know this. This Power Adapter is literally ONLY the Power Adapter (brick) and not the traditionally understood "power cord". It's a high quality adapter that has some heft, but works well. It's serialized and macOS knows the unit and can report on it, but this does not include the critically required USB-C Power Cable that attached the brick to your computer. You'll need to purchase this separately. For that reason, and the reason that it is NOT clearly printed or labeled on the packaging, to a 3/5. It's a quality product, but it is incomplete the the widely understood norm of what a "Power Adapter" is.

The fact that it doesn't come with a cable; you know, the thing that makes it more than a brick, should be put in the title of the product. It's also ridiculous that this is the same price as the magsafe charger, which works out of the box, without having to buy a $35 additional cable.

My new MacBook Pro battery died, my charger is at work, so I run to Best Buy and buy a new power brick just like years ago with my previous MagSafe charger which is incompatible with the new USB-C MacBook which really stinks since the MagSafe was the best power cord ever. Get home (45 min round trip) open the new charger and guess what, no USB-C cable is included. Man was I upset!! Nowhere on the box does it say that the cable is not included! So, not only is the MagSafe gone, but no cable at all is included with the new charger. Terrible, what is wrong with Apple?
