    I had the 1st gen AirPods and they worked fine. Had them for years. When the batteries finally gave out, I upgraded to these 3rd gen but they did not fit in my ears at all. They constantly fell out while I was walking so I returned these and got the 2nd gen. 2nd gen are perfect for me.
