Not a long a the 2nd generation so they go in your ear on a slant. They are a little larger so if you have small ears you might have problems.

I kept putting it off because they were so expensive compared to anything that I could purchase on Amazon. But I’ve gone through several pairs of cheap Bluetooth earbuds over the years and it’s been a complete waste of money. No one could ever hear me on the cheap ones. I haven’t had one complaint with anyone on the phone with the AirPods. Go ahead and buy these. They are awesome. The sound is great and I use them one at a time. I can switch them back and forth My iPhone and Mac with ease. Just buy them. I assure you that it will be worth it and you will take better care of them versus any other pair of earbuds out there.

I can hear clearly now

The sound quality and battery life are good, but i do have an issue with them slipping out of my ear. Apple should develop a silicone cover to improve the grip/fit in the ear canal.
