At this point it's safe to say, without a doubt, AirPods 1 is a superior product to AirPods 3. PROBLEMS: - bluetooth - I must shut off bluetooth and turn it on to reconnect my AirPods 3 to my iPhone, almost every time. - charging - routinely (1 out of every 5 times of going in the case, by my estimation), one AirPod 3 doesn't charge. so you'll put one in, and it'll make that "do do berrr derrrr" low battery sound. - case - besides the charging problems, it seems to lose battery fast, and there's not real good indication of the battery life of the case (besides that annoying battery widget on the phone). Apple could easily design a larger light or little indicator or even just change the color of the led as the power got lower so you realize how low the case battery is.

I love the ergonomics of it and the charging feature of the case! I initially thought that something like that with short stems (irrespective of the stem length) would fall out of my ear but with the right ones, they stay in even during strenuous activity! I can't use anything else, I love this product as I'm on the phone a lot, either speaking to people or listening to music or podcasts so I need my hands to be free.

I’ve washed mine twice and they still run like a champ. Honestly, i was cutting the grass and listening to podcasts and the spacial sound made it literally sound like there were two people on either side of me. And, call me crazy, when i turned the mower around to head the other way I swear it was almost directional sound as i was turning. Love them.
